May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Cornerstone VNA and other businesses have the mental health awareness month green ribbon, which acts as the international symbol for mental health awareness, representing hope, strength, and support for those struggling with mental illness.

We invite any community businesses, organizations, municipal buildings and homes to join us by placing green candles (think holiday candles with GREEN bulbs!) in your windows or spotlighting your location in green to show your support for the importance of mental health during the entire month of May! The month of May is right around the corner!

The mental health alliances have a month full of events, activities, trainings and community meetings lined up! Here is how you can be involved!
-Light it up Green all month long- by decorating your home or place of business in green (green window candles, spotlights, decorations!)
-Wear Green and show your spirit on May 15th- recognized locally as Wear it Green day in support of mental health education and awareness.
