Over the past several months, I’ve seen an increase in missed appointments and last-minute no-shows. While I understand that life happens and unexpected situations arise, each appointment time is reserved specifically for you and is often difficult, if not impossible, to fill on short notice.
As a small business owner, a no-show doesn’t just leave an empty spot in my schedule, it means lost income, lost opportunities to help another client in need, and time that can never be recovered. Unlike larger businesses, those missed appointments have a direct impact on my livelihood and the sustainability of the practice I’ve worked so hard to build.
Because of this, I will be aligning my business like most massage practices by requiring a credit card on file when booking appointments moving forward.
Please know that I will always approach genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances with understanding and compassion. This change is simply intended to help protect the time reserved for each client and ensure I can continue providing the care and attention you deserve.
