Every beach sauna day has its own personality. In typical early June fashion the weather was a little wild, a little moody, and absolutely beautiful.

Some trips treat food as an afterthought.

We don’t.

In fact, the only thing I might be more passionate about than sauna culture is food.

So when Abbey Hunter agreed to join us for the Icelandic Bathing Expedition, I was absolutely thrilled.

Because after a day spent exploring geothermal landscapes, soaking in thermal waters, and experiencing Iceland through its bathing culture…

…the last thing anyone should be worrying about is what’s for dinner.

Abbey will be preparing our meals from scratch throughout the expedition, thoughtfully crafted to nourish, restore, and bring people together around the table.

Dietary restrictions?

Hungry after a day of adventure?
✅ Definitely covered.

Because the best expeditions aren’t just about where you go.

They’re about how you feel while you’re there.

This June, there’s another reason to visit Pentwater for the weekend…

For the next four Saturdays, we’re bringing a wood-fired sauna to Mears State Park, creating a unique lakeside bathing experience right on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Book a seat and meet others during a social sauna session, reserve the entire sauna for a private experience with friends and family, or elevate the evening with a Golden Hour buyout timed with sunset.

There’s something magical about stepping from the heat of the sauna into the fresh waters of Lake Michigan while the sun drops below the horizon.

Only 4 Saturdays.
