Statistics shows Men are more likely to die by su***de than women. Not because they hurt less... but because they're taught to hide it better.

"Man up."
"Be strong."
"Don't make it a big deal."

So they don't. They smile through it, push through it, and call it "fine."

John's story isn't about a crisis. It's about a quiet moment realizing he wasn't really present anymore and choosing to say something before it became something bigger.

This September, for Su***de Prevention Month, we're not asking men to be less strong. We're asking them to redefine what strength looks like.

Sometimes it's a 3-word text to your wife.
Sometimes it's a few honest minutes with an assessment that helps you understand what you're actually carrying.

Check in with yourself. Check in with the John in your life. πŸ’¬

An estimated 15–20% of new mothers experience postpartum anxiety and depression together yet standard postnatal screening tools frequently miss it.
Maya's story shows why: cleared at her six-week checkup, she was privately struggling with constant worry, sleeplessness, and dread. A standard depression scale came back inconclusive. A more comprehensive assessment (M3) revealed high risk for both anxiety and depression leading to timely, targeted treatment.

The takeaway: single-focus screening can miss what multidimensional tools catch, especially during one of the highest-risk windows in a woman's mental health.

Roberta, 76, was managing her health well until knee pain led to an osteoarthritis diagnosis. Physically, she was "excellent." But she'd quietly withdrawn from friends, lost interest in things she loved, and developed new anxiety.

None of it showed up in a routine exam.

She took the M3 assessment herself a score of 48 flagged both depression and anxiety, well above the clinical threshold for concern. With her results, she and her doctor built a plan: therapy, physical activity, and a treatment approach adjusted as her M3 score shifted over time.

Today, Roberta swims, has new friends, and checks in with M3 as a wellness habit.
Physical symptoms can mask real mental health needs.

Multidimensional screening gives patients and clinicians the fuller picture.

NIH-supported research: Adults with chronic pain are 5x more likely to report anxiety or depression. Medicare offers a free mental health review.

Chronic pain and anxiety frequently occur together, yet they are often evaluated separately.

An NIH-supported study published in the journal PAIN found that adults living with chronic pain were about five times more likely to report symptoms of anxiety or depression than those without chronic pain.

Original Medicare beneficiaries now have access to a free three-minute online review that evaluates anxiety, mood, sleep, and pain, with follow-up care typically covered under Medicare part B.

"Is it just the baby blues... or something more?" That question deserves better than a 10-question checklist from 1987.

For decades, postpartum mental health has been screened with tools like the EPDS tested on just 84 women, built before we understood how complex a mother's mind really is. It misses restlessness. It misses OCD. It misses the fact that 1 in 4 women labeled "depressed" may actually have bipolar disorder.

The M3 changes that with one assessment that sees anxiety, panic, bipolar, and OCD, not just depression. Because your mental health isn't one-dimensional, and your screening shouldn't be either.

Hayden Panettiere dies at age 36.
In one of her final interviews, she opened up about carrying depression and addiction while the world only saw the smile and the glitz and glam.

That gap feeling numb inside while looking "fine" outside is more common than we admit, and it's exactly why silent struggle is so dangerous.

It's easy to say "talk about it." It's much harder to do when you don't have the language for what you're feeling, or why.

That's where M3 Mental Health comes in.

Our clinically-informed assessment screens for Anxiety, Depression, Stress, PTSD, and Bipolar Disorder giving you a holistic, detailed report and progress tracking, all in a secure, confidential space.

Developed with real clinical expertise, so what you learn about yourself is something you can trust.

IMPORTANT: If you feel at risk of self-harm, please contact the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, a 24-hour-a-day guidance and support at Lifeline at 988.

Rest in peace, Hayden. 🀍

Can't sleep? Anxiety might be the one pulling the strings.

Most people think anxiety causes "bad sleep." But it's actually THREE different problems:

1️⃣ Onset insomnia β€” your mind won't switch off at bedtime
2️⃣ Middle insomnia β€” you wake up at 2am and can't settle back down
3️⃣ Non-restorative sleep β€” you wake up exhausted even after a full night

The good news? CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) targets all three. Start here:

βœ”οΈ Keep the same sleep & wake time β€” even after a bad night
βœ”οΈ Stop predicting how badly tomorrow will go
βœ”οΈ Screens off 1-2 hours before bed. No exceptions.

Anxiety and sleep are deeply connected and the M3 assessment screens for anxiety (plus 4 other conditions) in just 3 minutes.

Understanding what you're dealing with is step one. πŸ”— Link in bio or visit Https://www.M3mentalhealth.org/

It starts with something small. A drink to unwind. Something to take the edge off at night.

And for a while, it works. The stress fades. Sleep comes easier. The relief feels earned.

But underneath, alcohol, ma*****na, tranquilizers, and painkillers suppress the deep sleep your brain needs to restore.

Over time, the brain adjusts and without the substance, sleep gets even harder than before.
So the dose increases. The dependency deepens.

And many people caught in this cycle weren't looking for a high they were looking for rest. Relief. A break from a mind that wouldn't quiet down on its own.

The insomnia often came first from anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress. Finding where it started is the way through.

The M3 assessment screens for anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, and substance misuse together. Because sleep isn't separate from your mental health. It's woven into all of it.
