At MPower Primary Care, we believe that preventive care is one of the most important things we can do for our patients. Breast cancer awareness isn't just about wearing pink in October. It's about taking action, knowing your body, and making your health a priority.

1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer during her lifetime.

Breast cancer doesn't always cause pain or noticeable symptoms.

Mammograms can detect breast cancer before you can feel a lump.

You can develop breast cancer even WITHOUT a family history!

🎀 When was your last mammogram?

For most women, routine mammograms should begin at age 40 and continue every 1–2 years, depending on individual risk factors and medical recommendations. Some women need screening earlier.

Early detection can save lives — and one of the most important steps you can take is staying up to date on your routine breast cancer screening.

If you’re due (or overdue!) for your mammogram, now is the perfect time to get it scheduled. 💗

At MPower, we can help you stay on track with your preventive health care, including:

💗 Clinical breast exams when appropriate

MPower has been hearing from so many people looking for new patient appointments, and we want you to know—we understand.

People have real and sometimes urgent healthcare needs, and in our area, many people are waiting 1–2 months for a new patient appointment. This just didn’t feel acceptable to us. We believe you deserve better.

So, we made some changes to our scheduling structure—and we’re excited to share that we now have more expedited availability for new patients! 🎉
