This week, we’re keeping lunch or dinner simple, colorful, and satisfying with a Loaded Sweet Potato from the Life Balance Lab.

Save this one for the week ahead. 👇

🥔 Loaded Sweet Potato Ingredients:
Sweet potato
Dairy-free yogurt
Nutritional yeast flakes
Avocado
Tomato
Baby spinach
Sliced mushrooms
Taco seasoning

To make it:
Bake the sweet potato at 355°F until soft enough to scoop out the center. Mix the sweet potato with the tomato, spinach, mushrooms, nutritional yeast and taco seasoning, then spoon everything back into the potato. Return it to the oven for about 10 minutes, then finish with avocado and dairy-free yogurt.

Why this meal works: Sweet potatoes provide fiber-rich complex carbohydrates that support steady energy, while avocado adds healthy fats that can help slow digestion and support more stable blood sugar after a meal. Spinach provides folate, iron and magnesium to support energy production and muscle function; tomatoes deliver lycopene and vitamin C for antioxidant and immune support; and mushrooms provide B vitamins and minerals that support energy metabolism and immune function. Nutritional yeast adds plant-based protein and B vitamins, making this a nutrient-dense combination designed to support sustained energy, blood-sugar balance, digestion and overall well-being.

✨ This week’s strategy: Let one meal be an easy win.
A satisfying meal can be one small way to support your energy, focus and the way you want to feel throughout your day.

And when you’re ready for something different, the Life Balance Lab makes finding your next meal easy. Browse breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes, with options for dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan preferences.
Small choices. Strong weeks.

Save this one for your next lunch or dinner. 💙

Okay, THIS might be one of the best parts of Pilates + Pickleball. 👀🏓

Your ticket doesn’t just get you on the court…it also includes instruction from professional pickleball coach Mark, a PPR-certified coach and teaching pro at the Minneapolis Pickleball Club.

Oh, and he also travels the country competing and recently brought home GOLD at the PPA Indoor Championship. 🥇

But here’s what we really love: this event is for every level.

🏓 Never touched a pickleball paddle? Come learn the basics.

🏓 Already love the game? Pick up new skills, strategy, and tips from a pro.

Add Pilates, movement, connection, coffee from Seven Corners and a morning spent doing something FUN for yourself, and you’ve got a pretty good reason to join us.

Great wellness starts with great expertise.

Meet Nikki Vanecek, acupuncturist for the Minnesota Twins and founder of EastWest Acupuncture.
We sat down with Nikki to talk about her work, her approach to acupuncture, and what she’s learned working with people at the highest levels of performance.

Yes, PTO matters and taking vacation really matters. Taking time away from work is an important part of overall wellbeing. The issue is, burnout isn’t simply the absence of vacation days.

There are four conditions that influence burnout:

1. Company Culture: Do people feel valued, supported, trusted and psychologically safe?

2. Connection: Do people have meaningful relationships at work and feel like they belong?

3. Recovery: Are there opportunities to reset *during* the workday, rather than waiting until evenings, weekends or vacations?

4. Access to well-being: Is wellness actually integrated into how people work? In-person when they’re in the office, live virtual when they’re remote, and on-demand wherever they are.

That’s why workplace wellness should be woven into the rhythm of the workday.Moments that help people reset instead of simply pushing through.

At Studio 9 to 5, we help organizations make those moments part of their culture because healthier workplaces aren’t built one vacation at a time, but they are built one intentional habit at a time.

What small recovery habit has the biggest impact on your workday?

Studio 9 to 5 provides wellness opportunities that matter. Comment “burnout” to find out how.

New week. New energy. New opportunity to choose how you want to show up. 💙

You can be ambitious and take care of yourself.
You can have big goals and protect your energy.
You can work hard and make room for joy.
You can accomplish more without running yourself into the ground.

The goal isn’t just to build a successful career, it’s to build a life you’re excited to wake up to.

So this week, choose the energy you want to bring with you.

Choose what deserves your attention.
Choose what moves you forward, and remember that your wellbeing belongs in the plan, too.

Swipe through and find the affirmation you’re claiming this week. → Save it. Believe it. Live it.

Some of the best parts of your week will be the people in it. 💙

It’s the conversation that makes you laugh, the coworker who always gets it, the quick check in that turns into exactly what you needed, or the person who makes an ordinary workday a little more enjoyable.

This week’s Sunday Strategy is simple:
Turn one ordinary interaction into a connection moment.

Ask the follow up question.
Give the compliment.
Invite someone along.
Celebrate someone’s win.
Stay for the conversation.

Connection sometimes it simply requires more presence. And those small moments? They’re often the ones that make a good week feel like a really good one.

Here’s to the people who make our weeks better. 🤍

Workplace wellness is so chic right now… and we’re very into it. ✨

We’re helping you…
Take the lunch break.
Move your body at 2 PM.
Actually know your coworkers.
Use the wellness benefits your company offers.
Leave work with enough energy to enjoy your life.

Chic. Chic. Chic.

At Studio 9 to 5, we believe wellness works best when it’s woven into the workday, not just added to the list of things employees are expected to squeeze in afterward.

Movement. Connection. Recovery. Experiences people actually want to participate in.

We think that’s pretty chic. What daily wellness habit makes the biggest difference in your workday?👇

What are some of the biggest setbacks to our health? Sometimes, it’s the things we do every single day without even thinking about them.

Studio 9 to 5 Health Coach Nichole brings up one that might surprise you: “Sitting is the new smoking.”

Think about it, how many hours do you sit each day? At your desk, in the car, at meals, watching TV, scrolling on your phone…it adds up quickly.

Long periods of sitting and inactivity can have a significant impact on our health over time, which is why incorporating movement throughout the day matters, especially while at work!

We caught up with Coach Nichole Bates at the Refresh Festival to hear her perspective on some of the biggest setbacks she sees when it comes to our health and wellbeing.

Sometimes improving our health starts with simply becoming more aware of the habits that are holding us back. 💙

So, how many hours do you think YOU sit each day?
