Some of you have asked for my xeloda schedule and here goes... I take around 9:15 am and pm as it's known to cause fatigue. Some days I take a nap around 12:30/1 other days my tea and beet root give me enough energy to power through. Make to take AFTER A MEAL WITH PROTEIN even if it's just beans or nuts (which I eat way more than meat).
I also take a LOT of supplements and I'm compiling the list right now. Some of these are specific to my issues (pleural effusion, bone pain) but are all based on personalized testing and research, coming from@my naturopath and 2 different cancer coaches. I will share when it's ready!
Mornings are hectic when you have kids, getting the ready and out the door to school on time can be stressful and not leave you enough time for your own things. I have learned to get up at 7 or 7:30 so I have at least 30 minutes to myself to feel settled and somewhat organized before waking them up.
Also with make sure you avoid folic acid. It reacts horribly with the medication and causes hand and foot sores, blisters, and pain. Folic acid is a synthetic form of B9 and can be found in enriched flour, which is in products like crackers, bread, pasta, cookies, etc. AVOID!!! Even if you're not on Xeloda, if you have MTHFR you should avoid it too as it can mess up your whole system (read Dirty Genes).
Any other questions? Ask below! Or share insight! I know I'm a research nerd and love reading studies but maybe you've learned something I haven't and information is king with healing from anything.
Back to my supplement list,
Sierra
