A couple weeks ago, we shared cake and smiles in celebration of Sal 👏✨ Sal started as a participant, then a leader, then a staff member. For years, he has given his compassionate heart and wisdom into serving this neighborhood. After successfully completing his coursework and apprenticeship, he has earned a position with Healthright 360. Our Arabic-speaking women’s class has blossomed into a moms and daughters group. While their mothers tend to self-care sessions, the little ones entertain themselves with crafts. The children asked for crochet materials because they want to make presents for children. Their creativity and generosity is inspiring 💖

Our annual Bouquets of Gratitude event is just around the corner 💐✨ We are so thrilled to offer a free flower arranging workshop led by Chandra, a vibrant community member who is the owner of Glowing Flowers SF, and the talented Desiree who owns Desiree Flower & Design Studio 💖 We will also have delicious Mexican food catered by our neighbor, Mele, who is the owner of .sf 🍽️❣️

At the Healing WELL, we intentionally foster sanctuary, safety, and connection for all people. That’s why this summer we’re launching “WELLness Beyond Borders,” an initiative focused on supporting our immigrant and refugee neighbors.

Join us for an online panel discussion to hear directly from our community members about how The Healing WELL has helped them adapt to life in the Tenderloin. You’ll be inspired by their stories of hope, determination and generosity of spirit.
