Heartburn and indigestion can be uncomfortable while taking a GLP-1 medication, especially when starting treatment or increasing your dose. 💙

Because these medications slow digestion, you may notice reflux, bloating, burping, or feeling overly full after meals.

Eat smaller meals. Slow down. Stay upright.
Wait 2–3 hours before lying down, sip water between meals, and limit common triggers like fried foods, spicy foods, coffee, alcohol, soda, chocolate, and tomato-based foods.

Talk with your healthcare provider if symptoms are severe, persistent, affect your sleep, or make swallowing difficult.

🚨 THE NEW 2026–27 COVID-19 VACCINES HAVE BEEN FDA APPROVED! 💉

Not into vaccines? No worries…keep scrolling😊 Think of this like an announcement for something you can skip.

For everyone who has been asking us when the new COVID vaccine is coming: we’re getting closer!

Skippack Pharmacy once again anticipates being one of the first pharmacies in Montgomery County to have the new COVID-19 vaccines available, with both Pfizer and Moderna anticipated…followed by Novavax later.

For those who may have forgotten how this works from last year, here’s the order of operations:
1️⃣ FDA Approval ← YOU ARE HERE ✅
2️⃣ CDC recommendations/guidance
3️⃣ Product ships
4️⃣ You get vaccinated! 💉

We anticipate the new COVID vaccines arriving within the next week, and once they’re physically in our refrigerators, we’ll open appointments.

One of our former team members many of you have gotten to know recently welcomed a new baby. ❤️

Her baby is still too young for the routine MMR vaccine, so she and her husband came into Skippack Pharmacy to make sure they were protected in helping protect their baby in the process.

This hits especially close to home right now. Pennsylvania recently reported two measles-associated deaths in unvaccinated individuals in Lancaster County, including a newborn.

There are a lot of things we do every day to protect the people we love. Making sure you’re protected against measles is one of the simplest.

The MMR vaccine has been used for decades and is highly effective at preventing measles.

If you need it, we got you.
If you’re not sure if you need it, we can help.
If you have questions and just want someone to talk to, we got you there too.

The choice is yours. Our job is to make sure you have the information and access you need to make it.

Dolly Parton always had a way of bringing people together with music, humor, kindness, and heart. 💙🎶

That’s what this little memory means to us.

Years ago, during one of our community clinics, one of our volunteer nurses, Lynda, grabbed the mic and gave us her own version of Dolly’s “vaccines, vaccines, vaccines.”

It was spontaneous but brought hope in a time of chaos and uncertainty.

More than anything, it reminds us of the people who showed up for one another, volunteered their time, and turned difficult days into moments of community.

Today, we’re remembering Dolly for the joy she gave the world, and for one small piece of joy she unknowingly gave ours.

Rest in peace, Dolly Parton 💙
