Whether you’re a fan of a Philly team, a New York team, your hometown team, any team or no team at all we can all agree on one thing:

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.

You don’t have to use opioids to carry Narcan. You may never need it for yourself. But in an emergency, having it nearby could help save someone’s life…a friend, neighbor, family member, coworker, or even a stranger.

Narcan is safe, easy to use, and can reverse an opioid overdose while emergency help is on the way…in this case it was far away & he may have not made it otherwise.

Free Narcan is available through Skippack Pharmacy for anyone who wants it—pick up or shipped: www.skippackpharmacy.com/narcan

You may also be able to get Narcan/naloxone through your local health department, community harm reduction programs, syringe service programs, or many pharmacies. If you can’t find it near you, DM us and we’ll help connect you to a place that has it.

Addiction is serious, but help is available. If you or someone you love is struggling with substance use, you are not alone.

Call SAMHSA’s free, confidential 24/7 National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357), text your ZIP code to HELP4U (435748), or visit FindTreatment.gov to find support near you.

Carry it. Share this. Save a life.

A special shoutout to 🦸‍♀️⛑️ : 🦸‍♂️🎥 : and fellow fans at the parade who stepped up to help a stranger in need, saved his life, and inspired a movement!

🍫 From Skippack to Hershey for more than just chocolate.

Today, we had the opportunity to be part of the Pennsylvania Immunization Conference, surrounded by leaders and changemakers in public health.

One of our proudest moments was having Julia there representing student pharmacists. Some of you may remember her from her IPPE rotation at Skippack a few years ago and now she’s back in her final year before becoming a pharmacist.

Julia went out of her way to make the trip, learn, connect, and be part of something bigger.

This photo may just be her standing in a hallway outside a classroom, but to us, it represents the future of pharmacy: showing up, caring deeply, and wanting to help people.

We’re proud of you, Julia 💙

🎓 Congratulations, Mahi! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating one of our amazing team members, Mahi Patel , on her graduation from North Penn High School!

Mahi has been a valued part of the Skippack Pharmacy family, and we’re excited that she’ll continue working with us during summers and school breaks as she begins her next chapter at Thomas Jefferson University .

She is pursuing her dream of becoming a physician, and we have no doubt that her dedication, compassion, and hard work will take her far.

Please join us in congratulating Mahi on this incredible achievement and wishing her all the best as she starts this exciting journey. We’re proud to be a small part of her story and can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes. 👏🎓💙

There's a reason your prescription costs keep rising and it's not all going to your local pharmacy.

PBMs often reimburse independent pharmacies below the actual cost of the medication while steering patients toward pharmacies they own. When community pharmacies disappear, patients lose access, choice, and personalized care.

We're grateful to Rep. Tarik Khan and his colleagues in the Pennsylvania House for helping bring attention to this issue and for advocating for greater transparency and accountability in Pennsylvania's prescription drug system.

Protecting independent pharmacies isn't just about businesses....it's about protecting patient access to healthcare in our communities.

Another shortage = another opportunity to make money, right?

Not exactly.

When medications become difficult to find, independent pharmacies are often the ones spending hours tracking inventory, searching alternative suppliers, coordinating with prescribers, navigating insurance barriers, and helping patients find a path forward.

In many cases, we’re not making more….we’re simply trying to help patients avoid interruptions in care while covering our costs.

Dr. Mak recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at what actually happens during medication shortages and why independent pharmacies continue stepping up for their communities.

The good news? Don’t worry—we’re finding ways around the red tape to help our community.

If you’re having trouble finding estradiol patches, progesterone, or other hormone therapies, we’re here to help.

Complete our Hormone Medication Availability Form, and our team will review your options and follow up with next steps:

At Skippack Pharmacy, shortages aren’t opportunities. They’re challenges we’re committed to helping our community navigate. We step up when no one else will and refuse to give up when insurance companies put profits first.

Behind every successful pharmacy is a team of people who help make it happen.

This weekend in Nashville at Connect, Dr. Mak had the chance to reconnect with two people who have been part of the Skippack Pharmacy journey since the beginning.

Thank you to Welton Jordan from , whose support has helped drive many of the technology, automation, and workflow innovations we’ve implemented over the years.

And thank you to Dr. Nicole Pezzino, who has been a tremendous supporter of our student programs and clinical service initiatives from day one from her journey through & to now at .

We’re grateful for partners like these who continue to help us grow, innovate, and better serve our community. 💙

Sorry, we’ve been a little quiet this week… half of our team is on vacation.

Meanwhile at the pharmacy, you may have noticed short staffed isn’t an excuse.

No excuses. No ladder. Just Ishaan as the pharmacy still gotta pharmacy 😭

POV: You’re the only guy on shift, the girls are already in weekend mode, and somehow keeping pharmacy operations under control becomes your problem 💃💊

Don’t worry… we’re closed Monday (Memorial Day) so the team can enjoy their time.

Iced out 💎❄️… but make it personalized medicine.

Not every medication journey looks the same — and that’s where compounding can help.

Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.

Your kindness, your effort, your patience, and the way you show up for others can have a bigger impact than you realize.

Do one small thing that makes someone’s day easier — check in on a friend, thank someone who helped you, hold the door, send the text, or offer a little extra patience.

Small acts add up. And yes, they make a difference. 💙
