Raw Nats recap for Victoria!!

Vic is my gamer. She always pulls it off no matter how insane prep was 🤣

This meet was our 7th comp together. Having more time with an athlete helps me as a coach make calls on meet day. Vic’s squat never fails to show up and even though the heaviest she hit in training was 385lbs, I knew she would ball out on meet day. But I didn’t expect her to smoke 190kg/418lbs like she did 🤣

Her bench floor has risen TREMENDOUSLY and we just got aggressive af for her third attempt bench. It’ll definitely be there next time with more exposure to heavy singles that we just didn’t have time for bc of life and ish

Vic hates deadlifts but they’ve been her most loyal steady gainer. She always hits that third attempt deadlift and locked up a nice little 5kg PR to close out her Raw Nats debut!

All in all - 8/9 attempts adding 22.5kg to her total from Sept! Love you Vic and can’t wait to see where you go next 💕💕

Raw Nationals 2026 recap for Laila!!

All I’m gonna say is you haven’t even SEEN what Laila is capable of 😤

A water cut got the best of her for squats. Being towards the end of weigh in order and the first flight with a two hour weigh in is a tough place to be in when trying to recomp. She also weighed in lighter than we expected which meant we probably could’ve come in slightly more fueled and hydrated which may have helped.

Bench has been trending beautifully for Laila and we secured a 5kg platform PR. Shes never been able to cleanly pause 77.5kg in the gym so to do it beautifully on the national platform was 🤌🏻

We have been pushing squats aggressively for perhaps the past year lol so deadlift progress has been slow. Definitely will make some programming adjustments so that all of the strength she’s gained can show up in deadlifts as well but she did lock up a 5kg platform PR! 👏🏻

The national stage is different. I always tell people you can’t anticipate what might happen on meet day and that nationals is a whole different beast from competing at the local level. I’m so so proud of Laila and so lucky to have her as my athlete through the ups and the downs of powerlifting!

USAPL Masters Nationals recap for Veronica Hamm!

Veronica started working with me shortly after States back in November where she had the goal to get back onto a program and get closer to some ATPRs.

We were able to creep some numbers back up from November and go 27.5kg heavier on squat, 7.5kg heavier on bench and tie her deadlift

Overall with Veronica’s insane work schedule (ifykyk) and timeline that we had, im very pleased with her performance at nationals and am excited to try some new programming strategies with her for States this year!

10th in the nation while moving up a weight class 💪🏼

Pretty happy with my performance especially with this week at Nationals being sooo busy (coaching, handling, organizing shirt pickups, etc). I kept forgetting that I was also there to compete 🤣

Thank you for another solid prep! Cant wait to keep building and creep my way into a podium position at Nationals. Thank you .pwlftr for handling! Thank you for being the best training partner and spotting all of my heavy lifts as usual. Thank you .lifts for screaming for me in the crowd I could hear you!!!

Can’t wait for the next oneeee! 💪🏼
