There is nothing quite like the moment a student steps fully into their power. 🥹Not only did my newest Reiki student Mackenzie Rae earn her certificate recently, but she also worked on me—and I needed it so, so badly. Learning to completely let go and trust is usually hard for me, but she has such a natural gift for healing. (Ps. She also does incredible massage, so keep an eye out for her work!) Detachment is the path to freedom.

Nothing is ever yours to keep.

There is nothing you can lose because nothing belongs to you. 🧭

You did not lose love; you let go of love that was never yours to hold.

You did not lose happiness; it comes and goes because it is temporary.

Everything changes.

Holding on to what cannot be held guarantees pain. 🌙

Fear, anxiety, and suffering grow from attachment — from trying to hold on to people, patterns, and outcomes.

When you feel as though you’ve lost, you are only releasing the illusion of ownership.

There is nothing to possess — but everything to experience.

Accepting impermanence creates space to observe without suffering, to act without fear, and to live.

You are free when you let go of the need to control what you cannot. 🕯
