There's something unmistakably "Maine" about a fresh cucumber sandwich in the summertime. At Sunnybrook Senior Living, the Cooking Up Memories program brought residents together to prepare cucumber sandwiches just the way they remembered them--sharing favorite recipes, swapping stories of family gatherings, church socials, garden harvests, and summer afternoons along the coast.

Because care that feels like Maine isn’t just about where you live. It’s about honoring the traditions, flavors, and memories that make this place feel like home. Sometimes, the sweetest moments begin with something as simple as a cucumber sandwich. 🥒 💚
