Hands of Hope is proud to support the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics at the annual Pediatrics by the Sea meeting.

As pediatric palliative and hospice specialists, we value opportunities to connect with providers, share resources, and collaborate on ways to better support children with serious illnesses and their families.

We're grateful to the GA AAP and the pediatric professionals who work tirelessly to improve the lives of children throughout Georgia. Together, we can expand awareness, strengthen partnerships, and ensure families have access to the care and support they deserve.

Today we shine a light on Congenital Cytomeglovirus (CMV) — one of the most common yet least recognized congenital infections. CMV is a virus that often causes little to no symptoms in healthy individuals, but when passed to a baby during pregnancy, it can lead to hearing loss, developmental delays, and other lifelong health challenges.
