A cleanser that does more than just cleanse? Yes please.

One of our favorite “quiet overachiever” products is Circadia Amandola Milk Cleanser.

Most people think of it as a face cleanser, but fun fact... we also recommend it to some of our waxing clients for the underarms and bikini area to help support brighter, more hydrated skin.

Here is why it works so well:

✨ Gently brightens
It contains lactic acid and mandelic acid, two gentle exfoliators that help lift dull, dead skin and support a brighter, more even look over time. This can be especially helpful in areas prone to friction, shaving irritation, or post-inflammatory darkening.

Why does waxing sound like we are ordering coffee sizes? 🤣

Honestly, these terms can get confusing because depending on where you live, or who does your waxing, they can mean completely different things.

So here is the quick guide to what we call them:

✨ Bikini Wax
A clean-up of what falls outside the natural panty line. Perfect if you are tired of shaving but want to keep things simple.

✨ Betweeny Wax
Exactly what it sounds like. It falls somewhere between a bikini and a Brazilian. Think of it as a more refined bikini wax. Some clients want a little more cleanup, some want part of the pelvic floor area included, and some do not. It is customizable and meets you where your comfort level is.

✨ Brazilian Wax
This is the full experience. Hair is removed front and back, including the bum area, with the option to leave a small patch in the front if you want. Smooth, customized, and totally your choice.

The truth is, there is no “right” amount of waxing. Some women love a basic bikini. Some want the full Brazilian. Most just want to stop shaving every other day because honestly… who has time for that? 😉

We see it all the time… you feel a breakout coming on and your first instinct is to do *something fast*.

That frustration is real. And honestly, it makes sense.

That’s where targeted products like invisiClear pimple patches and sulfur spot treatment can be really helpful, especially when you’re trying not to pick or irritate the skin further.

Pimple patches (hydrocolloid) work by protecting the blemish from outside bacteria and helping absorb excess fluid so the area can heal without interruption. They also create a physical barrier so you’re less likely to touch or pick at it.

Picking at breakouts will slow your skin down, not speed it up.

Here’s why:

• It increases inflammation, which makes the breakout look bigger and last longer
• It can push bacteria deeper into the skin, creating more irritation
• It raises the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation (those marks that linger)
• It can lead to scarring that takes much longer to correct than the breakout itself

It might feel like you’re “doing something,” but most of the time it’s working against your skin, not with it.

What to do instead:

⛏️No picking.
🧊Use ice to help bring down inflammation.
🔴Treat the breakout with a sulfur spot treatment to support healing or cover with a pimple patch.

Simple, consistent care will always get you better results than trying to rush the process.
