Sometimes you say yes to something that feels well outside your comfort zone… and it opens doors you never expected.
Yesterday I was in Austin to testify before the Texas Senate Health & Human Services Committee on healthcare affordability and direct primary care. It was an honor to share what we’ve learned at Pioneer Health DPC and to represent the perspective of independent family medicine.
What struck me most was this: people are paying attention to models that restore time, accessibility, and relationships in healthcare.
Grateful for the opportunity, grateful for my patients who trust me with their care, and grateful for the reminder that meaningful work often grows in ways we never could have planned.
