Trying to conceive over 40? You don’t need to panic, but you do want to be proactive.
Fertility changes with age, and after 40 I generally don’t recommend spending six months “just trying” before getting more information. An earlier fertility evaluation can help you understand ovarian reserve, ovulation, s***m health, and whether there are other factors worth addressing.
In the meantime, the basics still matter: identify your fertile window, nourish your body well, prioritize sleep and movement, start a quality prenatal, and build a team you trust.
And remember: an evaluation doesn’t automatically mean IVF. It gives you information and options so you can make decisions that make sense for you.
If you’re trying to conceive at 40+ and aren’t sure where to start, I’m happy to help you put the pieces together. 💗
