Think Perfect Touch Massage is just about getting a massage? There’s a lot more happening here.

Every body is different, which means recovery shouldn’t look exactly the same for everyone either.

At Perfect Touch Massage, I offer a variety of services that can be incorporated into your wellness and recovery routine — from therapeutic massage and myofascial release to cupping, red light therapy, compression therapy, active recovery sessions, cranial sacral therapy, and manual lymphatic drainage.

The goal isn’t to throw every technique at you. It’s to help you find what makes sense for your body, your activity level, and what you’re trying to accomplish.

Swipe through to see what’s available at PTM.

And if you’re looking at this thinking, “Okay…but I have no idea what I need,” that’s completely fine. You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Let’s figure it out.

Working harder isn’t always the fastest way to recover.

If you’re coming back from an injury, increasing your workouts, or trying to improve mobility and strength, how you recover matters just as much as the work you’re putting in.

Three things I see that can slow recovery down:

1. Rushing through exercises instead of focusing on the movement and mind-body connection.
2. Progressing too quickly because “I can do it” doesn’t always mean “my body is ready for it.”
3. Skipping rest. Your body actually needs downtime to repair and recover.

Train hard, but give your body a chance to catch up.

And if tight, overworked muscles are getting in the way of your recovery, let’s work on them.

Some tight muscles give up easily.

Others apparently need four rounds.

When a trap has been holding onto tension for way too long, sometimes you have to work with it a little differently — finding the right spot, adjusting the pressure, and giving the muscle time to release.

No actual punches were thrown in the making of this massage. The trap, however, put up a good fight.

If your neck and shoulders have been feeling like they could go a few rounds too, it might be time to get on the table.

September is almost here — and if your neck, shoulders, hips, or low back have been reminding you that you’re overdue for a massage, this is your sign to get on the schedule.

Don’t wait until the tightness turns into pain or your body is screaming for attention. Regular massage can help support mobility, recovery, muscle tension, and the everyday aches that come from work, workouts, stress, and spending way too much time sitting.

At Perfect Touch Massage in Tampa, every session is tailored to what your body needs that day — whether that includes therapeutic massage, sports massage, stretching, cupping, myofascial work, or other techniques.

September appointments are filling up, so don’t wait for the “I really need a massage” moment. Book yours now.

Upper body day isn’t over when the workout ends.

If you’re training your chest, shoulders, or back, don’t forget about thoracic mobility and your mid-back. That stiff, tight feeling between your shoulder blades can be your sign that this area needs some attention too.

A foam roller is one of my favorite ways to work on it. In this stretch, I’m opening the chest, moving through the shoulders, and working on mobility through the thoracic spine.

Save this one for your next upper body workout — especially if you also spend a lot of your day sitting at a desk.

And if stretching alone isn’t cutting it, book your massage at PTMTampa.com.

You can work a desk job, “do nothing” all day… and still end up with a neck, back, and hips that have opinions about it.

Sitting in the same position for hours can leave your neck creeping forward, shoulders rounding, hips feeling tight, and low back stiff—even if you never did anything physically demanding.

Your body needs movement throughout the day. Get up. Change positions. Stretch. Give those muscles a chance to move.

And when your desk job has really done a number on you? That’s where I come in.

If you’re dealing with neck tension, tight shoulders, hip tightness, or low back discomfort, massage therapy can be a great addition to your recovery routine.

Your desk job called. It owes you a massage.

POV: I’m trying to work on your neck and you’re just… 👁️👁️

I promise you can close your eyes.
You can relax.
You do not have to supervise me. 😂

Please don’t make this weird for both of us.

What happens when you add red light therapy to your massage? You may be getting a lot more out of your recovery session.

I love adding red light therapy to massage because it can support what we’re already working on during your session.

Red light therapy may help reduce inflammation, support muscle recovery and performance, improve circulation, ease joint pain and stiffness, support skin health, and even help with sleep and circadian rhythm.

For my active clients, athletes, people dealing with everyday muscle tension, or anyone who wants to get more out of their recovery routine, it can be a great addition to a massage session.

And no—you don’t have to be an athlete or wait until your body is hurting to focus on recovery.

If you’re looking for massage therapy and red light therapy in Tampa, you can add red light to your next session at Perfect Touch Massage.

Pec tension isn’t just a men’s issue.

Women can carry just as much tightness through the chest, and I know pec work can sometimes feel a little awkward or uncomfortable to ask about — especially if you’re worried about breast tissue getting in the way.

It doesn’t.

There are simple ways we can position and work around the area while keeping you comfortable and still giving me access to the muscles that need attention.

You never have to feel embarrassed or apologize for your body during a session. My job is to help you feel comfortable while we work on what’s tight.

If your chest and shoulders have been feeling tight, let’s work on it.
