As IBCLCs, we see firsthand how timely, qualified lactation care can make a meaningful difference for parents and babies. Insurance coverage plays an important role in making that care accessible, and when coverage changes, families can feel the impact.

If you have concerns about your lactation benefits, use your voice. Contact your insurance company, reach out to your state insurance commissioner, ask questions, and advocate for the coverage you and your family need.
