August is National Wellness Month. Funny thing is, I’ve never met anyone who started caring about their health because the calendar told them to.

Usually, it starts the day you realize you're out of breath climbing the stairs, the morning you wake up tired after a full night’s sleep, or when those little aches become impossible to ignore.

But wellness shouldn't start when something feels off.

As a healthcare provider, I’ve learned it’s less about chasing perfection and more about checking in with yourself, paying attention to your body, and being proactive about your health.

Sometimes the best time to check in is while you’re still feeling good. 💙
