Shameka Andrews visited CRL this morning to talk about her new book, Butterfly on Wheels. Butterfly on Wheels seeks to teach children that although people with disabilities may move around differently, we all have more similarities than differences.

New York State Independent Living Council, Inc. Emergency Preparedness Committee is hosting a Citizen Preparedness Corps bag training event at the Hilton Garden Inn Troy on Thursday, September 24 at 6:00 PM. This event is free to the public, but registration is required. There will be ASL interpretation at the event.

Everyone who attends the training will receive a "go bag" containing emergency supplies.
