Enough is enough. Please don’t associate with me if you don’t understand the seriousness of sexual violence and harassment. Here at Autonomy Pelvic Health, we are a safe space 🤍

As pelvic floor therapists we can be trained to do intra-re**al assessments, but not everyone is! If you’re having concerns related to pooping, tailbone pain, low back pain, or deep re**al pain, you may benefit from an intra-re**al assessment!

When searching for a pelvic floor therapist, you can ask if they can perform an intra-re**al assessment. I (as in me Audra) can do these and have found great benefits for patients getting relief from their symptoms.

This exam may seem intimating, but a good clinician will make sure to throughly explain how the exams are performed, the risks/ and benefits, and making sure it’s the right fit for you.

If you have questions, feel free to call my clinic or book a free phone consult with me directly! Link in bio for contact info.

Start taking care of your nervous system health. Your pelvic floor is going to thank you 😌 life is way too fu***ng short to be worrying about what others think of you, doing things for people that drain the life out of you, and not making time for yourself and your own needs.

🔔 Attention all patients! The elevator is not working. There was a part that got broken during the safety inspection and they are awaiting for this part to arrive. The building managers do not have a set timeline of when the part will arrive. So in the meantime, everyone needs to use the stair entrance! This video above shows you how to find the stair entrance. If you have questions or concerns, contact the clinic at 774-314-7318 - thank you!!

People ask me all the time what are the best exercises to do to improve their pelvic floor health. I also get asked about trending TikTok reels that are about pelvic floor health and if the advice given is true or will help them.

But what is something that I feel doesn’t get discussed enough? Encouraging our patients and community to do the s**t that LIGHTS THEM UP! Engagement in meaningful activities with people who brighten your life is probably one of the most important things you can do for your pelvic floor health.

Yeah core strength is cool, midfoot loading is great, pooping well is important - but your joy and happiness is even more important.

I always ask patients what they enjoy doing and make sure we find ways to include their joys in their care. And if they’re feeling limited by their pelvic floor issues, we absolutely make sure to address that!

Your nervous system and pelvic floor health go hand in hand. This is why it’s so important you do the things YOU want to do, and surround yourself with people who light you up.

And don’t be afraid to be yourself. I can definitely say I’m a black sheep in the pelvic health space and have learned to embrace it.

Im not someone who has a million followers, trendy reels, or makes millions with my business - but I am assure you I am me and learning to be proud of that.

So go be you! Go do s**t you like! Go be with people you like! And have a fantastic day 😎
