Life is short. Life is long.

When I heard this today it struck me as so impossible to balance. If both are true then how do we move forward, celebrate life, be present and at the same time be mindful of how our choices today affect our future lives.

Such a puzzle this thing we call life as we hurl ourselves through space and spend our precious time in ridiculous ways.

I don’t have answers only questions.

Fear, grief, loneliness, hope, anxiety, excitement, obsession, even love—these are all weather. They pass through us, sometimes gently and sometimes with great force.

The sky is the awareness that sees them, without becoming them.
