Our vision at Prototype Training Systems is to build the GREATEST relationship business for our clients and cultivate the greatest human development culture for our team members. based on those values. We are the segue into a more healthy, active life. That responsibility means introducing clients to new activities, making them comfortable with working out in any environment, and giving them attributes they can display with pride. Our own hard work will be recognized by our clients and friends and will encourage them to work harder in the face of challenges. We believe in the prescriptive model, not a one size fits all approach. We prescribe the best programs and services to our clients that will suit both their needs and wants to maximize their results. We believe in the long haul. Continual progress is necessary for self-actualization; if you’re not moving ahead, you’re falling behind. We set milestones and celebrate when they’re reached. And then we reach further. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. We’re comfortable in our skills and can joke about our weaknesses. However, individual growth is integral to the development of both ourselves and our community. We believe that it’s just as important to train for a hiking trip as a triathlon. Cori Wigington has three active boys.

Part of why she keeps showing up at Prototype is so she can keep up with them. The other part is so they see what investing in yourself actually looks like.

“I think investing in yourself — and showing your kids how to do that — is a really important piece of parenting.”

She started because life cracked open last year. She stayed because of who’s watching.

Today is Memorial Day. Day 16 of our 100 in 100 series belongs to Coach Tony Pittman — Command Sergeant Major, US Army (Ret.), 20 years of service, 6 combat deployments.

He found CrossFit in a war zone. He ruptured both patella tendons and did band work from the ICU. And he said this about today:

“It’s a sad day because I know people who are gone. But it’s a happy day because this country wouldn’t be where it is without those people.”

Day 14 of 100 in 100 is about Brendan Sheehan. Harvard rower. Financial planner. Prototype member since January 2013

Brendan is the owner of has a psychology degree and a financial planning degree — and he’ll tell you right now the psychology one is coming in more handy.

He also tells his own clients: don’t cancel the gym.

Day 10 of 100. Real members, Real Stories.

Meet She watched from the sidelines first.

She came to Prototype because her youngest started CrossFit at 14. She took laps around the gym, got comfortable, and finally decided: if my kid can do it, maybe I can too.

That was November 2020. Since then: 1,124 sign-ins. 257 PRs. A 230 lb hip thrust PR — while losing 54 lbs. Blood pressure improved. Pre-diabetes gone.

But what she really built here was the steadiness to hold her family together through their hardest years.

6 years sober: “I don’t know where I would be without this place.”

Nicole St. Pierre has been training at Prototype since 2014. She came in skeptical — before Prototype, she thought CrossFit was something she’d never do. But she tried it, and stayed because of the people.

When life got really hard, this community helped hold her together. Six years sober now. Still showing up at 5am. Still making her kids want to train like mom.

came to Prototype after breaking her wrist and getting diagnosed with full-blown osteoporosis. She chose lifting over medication.

4 years. 561 workouts. 130 PRs later — her diagnosis changed.

This is what strength training actually does. 💪

Last night we had the honor of speaking with the winter athletes, parents, and coaches about one of the biggest performance “cheat codes” that’s not a workout: recovery. 💪❄️

Our core message was simple: stress + recovery = growth. Training is the stimulus… but the adaptation happens when you refuel and recharge. We dug into the “brilliance in the basics”:
• 😴 Sleep is non-negotiable (aim for 8–10 hours for high school athletes)
• 🍽️ Eat enough + timing matters (fuel before, during, and after practices/games)
• 🧠 Manage life stress + build routines that actually fit your week
• 🏋️‍♀️ Stay strong in-season with short, smart sessions so you don’t lose what you built

Huge thank you to Westborough High for having us—and a special shoutout to Athletic Director Levi Hanson for leading the charge to support athletes beyond the scoreboard. 🙌
