We still have tickets left for this weekend's Caterpillar Crawl & Movie! If you want to learn about the wonderful world of caterpillars AND find some for yourself, this is your chance. With so many native plants in our inventory, there are bound to be cool caterpillars to find! The image above shows just a few of the species we've seen here at the nursery, and that's barely scratching the surface. According to our iNaturalist project that tracks sightings here at the nursery, we've documented 109 different species of moth and butterfly!

In addition to the caterpillar crawl itself, we'll be showing "The Extraordinary Caterpillar," a film from Homegrown National Park that dives into their fascinating lives. 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 $𝟭𝟬 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀! You're welcome to come to the nursery early to shop, and set aside your plants to take home with you after the event. We'll start the movie at 8:30pm, with the caterpillar crawl after the movie. If you have black lights, bring them with you as caterpillars often fluoresce under UV and become much easier to spot! We will also have some on hand to share.

Scioto Gardens Art Festival & Market Day with sackettfarmflowers Open House

I’m so inspired by Amy Eiken, Amy Dutt and the other incredible women that have poured their souls into preservation and restoration of our soil and ecosystem.

Witnessing how these 2 businesses have supported each other and collaborated on their shared mission has been heartwarming.

They deserve all the success I witnessed when I saw how many cars were coming and going today!

What a gift for me today when Lisa Fitzharris Lisa Fitzharris came to the Open House sackettfarmflowers to say hello.

She shared her amazing news of beating her personal best time on the race after our hypnosis session together!

I don’t typically advertise that I can help athletes and performers with their mindset during recoveries from injuries and improve performance.

Hypnosis has been a blessing in my own life, and I enjoy showing others how to leverage the power of their own subconscious mind …just like Lisa did for herself daily prior to her race.

Lisa is an engineer and created an amazing tool on her website that helps anyone who is seeking more awareness on creating more balance in their own lives, so check it out!

It was such a lovely summer afternoon! I’ll share more pics in a separate post.
