That “crunch” or crack you hear during a chiropractic adjustment is called “cavitation” (and it’s harmless, BTW).

While many patients find it satisfying, it doesn’t mean that it’s a better adjustment.

Sometimes joints make noise, sometimes they don’t.

The goal is to help you move better, not to make you crunch.
