Windows moved, crawl space encapsulation complete, drywall repair finished today, porch almost done, cabinets ordered, large sign in the works . . . and a hundred other things done.

Low Glycemic Veggies. I know. I know. We all mean to consume more of them, but then well, life gets in the way.

I struggle too, but I've made getting those veggies a priority and a habit. I don't eat any meal (except occasionally breakfast) without one or more servings. Yes, protein and healthy fat intake is oh so important (and something I prioritize), but it can't be "all she wrote."

Why? Because I know the benefits: Maintenance of a healthy weight, better thinking, more energy, less sickness and better GI health (the short list).

Know the benefits and start consistently consuming them. It doesn't always have to be about salads. There are tricks to make this easier.

LEAKY GUT!

Leaky gut (intestinal permeability) is the first step to any GI issue, autoimmune disease and can contribute greatly to weight problems, skin conditions and mood issues.

Leaky gut and a compromised gut is where my thyroid autoimmune started before I was formally diagnosed.

In my practice, I provide my patients a protocol to combat leaky gut. This opens doors to resolve health conditions they never thought possible.
