Know Your Pollen Levels 🌼

Spring allergies can make enjoying the outdoors difficult. One simple way to reduce symptoms is to check daily pollen counts before heading outside.

🌿 Pollen levels are often highest in the morning.
🌿 Consider outdoor activities later in the day when counts may be lower.
🌿 On high-pollen days, keep outdoor exposure brief when possible.

A little planning can help you breathe easier this allergy season!

Don't Forget Hydration 💧

Staying hydrated isn't just good for overall health—it may also help during allergy season.

💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
💧 Hydration can help keep mucus thinner and may reduce congestion.
💧 Choose water over sugary drinks when possible.

Small healthy habits can make a big difference.

For many veterans, the battle doesn’t end when service ends. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder can affect thoughts, sleep, relationships, mood, and daily life long after traumatic experiences occur.
Ways to support veterans living with PTSD:

Listen without judgment
Encourage connection and support
Promote healthy routines and self-care
Help reduce stigma around mental health treatment
Remind them they do not have to carry it alone

To all veterans: your service mattered, and your health matters too.

If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Mental Health Services or the Veterans Crisis Line by calling 988 then pressing 1.
