We are gearing up for First Fridays in Wi******er! Last year we raffled off a great basket worth almost $1,000! Currently, we have up to $600 in donations - BUT if you are interested in donating and we haven’t yet reached out - please send us a message!

The first raffle will be on June 5th. More details to come.

11 years ago today, our Katie walked across the stage at George Mason University and earned her BSN degree. 💚🎓

She was so proud, and so were we. Katie worked hard for everything she achieved, but she also made life fun along the way, full of love, laughter, friendships, determination, and that beautiful smile those gorgeous eyes that could light up any room.

Today we remember this happy milestone and celebrate the incredible nurse, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend she became. Her compassion and love for others continue to inspire the heart behind Katie’s Comfort House every single day.

We just know she’s still smiling that big smile looking down on all of us. 💕

8 years ago, sitting on a fallen tree, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the woods… this is where Katie felt most at peace. The outdoors was her happy place, where she could breathe deeply, laugh freely, and just be.

Katie had a way of finding beauty in the simple things, the rustling leaves, the fresh air, the stillness that so many of us rush past. She reminded us to slow down, to appreciate what’s right in front of us, and to hold tight to the moments that matter most.

At Katie’s Comfort House, we will carry her spirit forward every day. Just like the outdoors brought her comfort, our mission is to provide that same sense of peace, warmth, and care to others when they need it most.

Today, we remember her love for nature, her beautiful smile, and the way she made the world feel a little softer just by being in it.

Katie’s House will be for all of us, because of her 💚
