Dr. Julie Carestio, PT, DPT offers a functional medicine approach to health and healing. She partners with her patients and clients to find the root cause of symptoms, supporting health through food choices, movement, restorative sleep and nutritional & herbal supplementation. Juli

e is an expert in sleep support and digestive health restoration. Her clients report resolution of symptoms that have sometimes been present for years. Migraines, insomnia, irritable bowel symptoms, hormone disturbances, joint pain and autoimmune conditions often resolve quickly under her guidance. She also counsels on preventative care to decrease the incidence of viral and bacterial infections, cancer, osteoporosis and mental decline. In addition to meeting one-on-one with her patients and clients, Julie offers a variety of lively classes about herbs, herbal preparations and foraging. Julie is a licensed physical therapist, a certified herbal consultant, a certified Heart Math practitioner and a certified yoga instructor. She is currently working toward certification in functional medicine from the Institute for Functional Medicine. She lives in Frederick County, Virginia.

This circle is held by Natalia Ossinova, RN, IBCLC, whose work weaves together OB nursing, home birth support, herbalism, and prenatal yoga — all rooted in a holistic, mother-centered approach.
Together, we’ll make space for your questions, your experiences, and the real rhythms of early motherhood — from feeding and recovery to emotional support and community connection. We’ll also share gentle movement and simple nourishment.
