I'm Disability Strong Are You?

Those that know me, know when I come across a problem I can not solve on my own, I try to bring awareness to it, and do my best to be part of fixing it. So I created: I'm Disability Strong Are you? On Facebook so those temporarily or permanently disabled and their friends and family can discuss difficulties disabled people have and if there are solutions to bring them up so others can find them.

This is what's on my mind tonight. Even with how far we have come as a nation, it's amazing how difficult it still is for equality for disabled people in this country. What makes me bring this up Tonight. I have been in nursing homes now for approximately 2 years longer than I would have had to if there were more accessible homes available for people with disabilities and their families to rent. The more likes and shares I get to the page the more good the page can do. The more that use the page for what it's intended for, the happier I am.

Also if anyone knows of a 3-4 bedroom accessible home to rent in Woodstock, or Crystal Lake around $23-$2700 with little deposit that allows small dogs. Give me a call: (815)834-8365.

Come together on sites like this and discuss our challenges and what we as a group can do to make life easier on the next generation.
