My first audiobook - chapter one from the novel: The Reality Shifters.
Oh, you should have seen me grinning like a mischievous cat when I heard the first chapter of The Reality Shifters coming out of my cell phone. I'd bravely ventured into the wild world of a fully AI-run website, and let me tell you, it was a digital jungle out there.
Weeks slipped by as I tried to tame this fully AI-run website. Easy? Not for this Dutch-South African soul! The so-called 'help' was always a polite, ever-smiling AI bot, which felt a bit like talking to a toaster that had read a book on empathy.
I must confess, my patience wore thin as I pleaded for a real human, but no luck. Instead, I was sent on a wild goose chase with forms that seemed to multiply like rabbits. Then came the email, asking me to prove I was, in fact, a living, breathing Nadine. By the time I finally managed to create that first chapter, my credits had vanished into thin air, and I had to fork out more dollars. Not exactly a bargain!

Now I'm left wondering if I should keep going. At least I've survived the first round, so maybe the second chapter won't be quite as much of an adventure.

I'm the voice behind the story, and yes, there are a few little hiccups here and there, but honestly, only my eagle-eyed self would spot them.

Im trying to add my audio on Facebook or in the comments, but that never worked, so I had to publish it onto my YouTube channel so I can add the link. Does that mean I have to add images?
I'm going to add the audio file as well. So I can use these links in my blogs.

Watching this YouTube post from eleven years ago gently carried me back to the days when I served as the webmaster for Kima Global.

As I listened to my own words from that time, I was reminded that my outlook on life has remained steady, even as the world around me has shifted. I find myself grateful that the future was hidden from me then, allowing each moment to unfold in its own way. The workbook, The Language of Light, has not found its way back to Amazon, as the closing of Kima Global Publishing after Robin’s passing brought many changes. Yet, I feel called to share its wisdom once more, and so I will soon offer it freely through my blog, hoping it finds those who are searching.
The novels that are flashing past have all been given new covers; The Awakening Clan became the Reality Shifters; the other two following novels were joined into one novel, Orphanage of Souls. This month, I added a new YouTube video on the five stages, including a narrator who is not my voice.
Today I'm busy creating my first audio file on Chapter One. My voice is the narrator, and I gave my character a unique human voice. Through my novels, I've even created images of the nine main characters. Today I'm being creative by using the latest AI technology to access the wisdom of several incredible, advanced souls who left us teachings written for our times. Here is an audio introduction for "The Five Awakenings stages: in Visionary Fiction." Practice makes perfect, or so they say—though I think practice mostly makes for good stories to tell later!

Oh, there’s still so much for me to learn as I send my novels out into the world, hoping they find their way to kindred spirits. Some days, my skills feel as tiny as a mouse trying to move a mountain, but I’ve learned to trust the journey. My characters are more than just words on a page—they’re my fellow travellers, each one stumbling and shining as they search for their own spark of light. As they scribble in their journals and wander along the winding road of ascension, I secretly hope you, dear reader, might spot a glimmer of your own soul in their stories. Who knows? Maybe, just maybe, the path will show itself when we least expect it.

There was a time, many years ago, when my hands found their voice in leatherwork. Through the gentle touch of suede and the strength of leather, I sought to reveal the hidden layers of reality that quietly shimmer beneath the surface, waiting for us to notice. Before I ever set pen to paper for my first novel, My Love We Are Going Home—later known as The RealityShifters—these tactile creations were my way of exploring the mysteries that call to us all. It would take many more years of learning, searching, and deepening my spiritual understanding before I completed my fourth novel, Parallel Realities.

Long before my words found their way onto the page, I found joy in guiding others through creative art therapy workshops. Together, we learned to see the world with new eyes, letting the simple act of drawing reveal the beauty woven into our everyday lives. In time, these gentle explorations blossomed into the doodle workshop, which I gathered into a workbook called the Language of Light.
