đź’š Because everyone deserves to feel heard, supported and understood.

Navigating the aged care system can be overwhelming, especially when you’ve been waiting months (or even years!) for the support you need.

At Caring Hearts In-Home Help, we believe that you shouldn’t have to wait until your funding is assigned to start receiving guidance. 🌿

That’s why we offer a FREE, no-obligation Meet & Greet, where we take the time to:

🌿 Listen to your story and understand your circumstances.

🌿 Help you navigate the aged care system and understand your options.

🌿 Explain where you are in your aged care journey and what steps you can take next.

🌿 Answer your questions without pressure or obligation.

Barbara’s beautiful feedback reminds us exactly why we do what we do. 🥹💚

Sometimes, making a difference starts with simply listening.

Whether you’re still waiting for your Support at Home funding or unsure where to begin, we’re here to help you make sense of it all.

What a privilege to spend the morning with the women of Wellsprings for Women đź’š

Today we sat down with women from the Afghan community to talk about something that matters to every family: knowing where to find support. We chatted about what living well means, caring for family (and yourself), the different “doorways” into help such as My Aged Care, NDIS, Carer Gateway and your GP, and how to ask for an interpreter when you need one.

Thank you for your openness, your questions and your warm welcome, and to the little ones who kept us smiling throughout!

Every story belongs here, and asking for help is a strength, never a failure.

Thank you to Wellsprings for Women for having us. 🧡

CONNECT & THRIVE 2026 đź’š

What a day. What a room. What a community.

We created Connect & Thrive with one simple hope — to bring older people in our community together to connect, move, learn, laugh and feel that they belong.

And somehow, it became even more special than we imagined.

There was movement, music, conversation, incredible food, plenty of laughter and, most importantly, genuine connection.

To every person who walked through those doors — thank you. You were the heart of this day.

And to the wonderful people and organisations who generously shared their time, knowledge and talents with our guests — thank you to our contributors, community partners and volunteers. You helped turn an idea into something truly meaningful.

A special thank you to Johnny Balance, Oz Physiotherapy, Celtic Iron Personal Training and Mentis Assist Care Finders, and to the City of Casey for giving us the opportunity to be part of the Ageing Positively Festival.

And finally, to our Caring Hearts directors, team and volunteers who worked behind the scenes to make every little detail happen — this one was ours. 💚

One guest told us she had barely left her home in three years except for chores and medical appointments. Yesterday, she came out. She connected. She laughed. She participated.

That alone made it worth it. Because sometimes, community is care too.

This was Connect & Thrive 2026 — and we have a feeling this is only the beginning. 💚

What a day at Connect & Thrive! đź’š

We were proud to kick off Victorian Seniors Month by celebrating the older people in our community. Our room was full of laughter, new friendships and plenty of smiles. Thank you to everyone who came along, joined in the fun and made it feel like one big community.

This year’s Seniors Festival theme is Connect, Create, Celebrate, and that’s exactly what we did: people coming together, sharing a cuppa and a good laugh. This is what care that feels like home looks like.

We can’t wait to see you at the next one!

Will you be coming to the next one?
