🌟 High River Win of the Week 🌟

This week’s win goes to Kenny!

Kenny has been hard at work on his diamond art projects, showing incredible focus, patience, and attention to detail. Diamond art takes a steady hand and great hand-eye coordination, and Kenny is creating some amazing masterpieces one tiny piece at a time.

Keep up the fantastic work, Kenny—we’re proud of your dedication and creativity! 🎨✨

🌟 Okotoks Win of the Week 🌟

Mark volunteers at the Foothills Thrift Store (also known as the Salvage Center), where he helps sort puzzles, games, and media before preparing them for the sales floor.

Mark takes pride in his work and plays an important role in helping keep the store organized and welcoming for shoppers. His dedication and attention to detail make a real difference, and we’re grateful for the time and effort he gives to his volunteer role.

Way to go, Mark! We’re proud of all you do! 👏😊

A special day for FAIM Strathmore!

Today, we had the honour of accepting a generous donation from Holy Cross Collegiate. To make the occasion even more meaningful, Zachary joined us for the presentation. As a proud Holy Cross graduate, it was a wonderful opportunity for him to reconnect with his former school.

Teachers were excited to see Zachary again, and we even got a photo of his track and field banner, which still hangs proudly in the gym. It was a great reminder that accomplishments, friendships, and community connections can last a lifetime.

Thank you to Holy Cross Collegiate for your generosity and continued support. We are grateful to be part of such a caring community!

🏃‍♀️🌎 Happy Global Running Day! 🏃‍♂️🌎

Today, runners around the world are celebrating the joy of running—and what better time to start preparing for FAIM’s High River Half on September 12!

Whether you’re training for the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 2K Walk, or Kids Run, every step you take today is a step toward the finish line. You don’t have to be fast, and you don’t have to be experienced—you just have to start.

Did you know that running was the featured event at the very first Olympic Games in 776 BC? More than 2,700 years later, people are still coming together through the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other.

So lace up your shoes, grab a friend, and get moving today. Your future self will thank you on race day!
