So much of what we do is based on fear, rejection and feeling embarrassed or shameful.

And I haven’t done a lot of the things I want to do because I’m afraid, I don’t want to be embarrassed.

But I don’t really want to live an average life anymore. Even more than don’t wanna feel embarrassed.

And really, I can only feel embarrassed if I assess the situation as embarrassing.

I can only fail to the level of my own definition of failure.

So every day I am going to be practicing the art of embarrassment.

Putting myself on here every day in an unscripted way, doing things out of my comfort zone, and facing the reality of levelling up - it’s fu***ng hard and scary

The universe will also find creative ways to put me in situations that are embarrassing 😅

But it’s worth it.

The game isn’t rigged, but you can’t keep doing the same old busted strategy of “eat less and move more” when your body is depleted

High cortisol and stress are the root cause women miss - and this is why you keep trying hard and nothing is working.

And in perimenopause, the hormonal shifts you’re going through make you more sensitive to stress.

More often than not, it’s not about the money

It’s about the hesitation to take a chance on yourself

It’s about the past failures in the back of your mind that make you think you can’t be successful

So you say no, because it’s too expensive, you can figure it out on your own

Except “figuring it out on your own” is costing you more than the thing that’ll actually help you.

Sometimes you really can’t afford it, and there’s no shame in that.
