Cognition: Strategies for Aging Adults

Are you noticing changes in your memory, attention, or thinking skills? Join us for an engaging and supportive group designed for older adults experiencing cognitive changes.

This brief, education-based session offers practical, everyday strategies to help support memory, attention, organization, and problem-solving skills. Participants will learn tools to promote independence, confidence, and overall well-being while connecting with others in a welcoming environment.

This group is facilitated by the occupational therapy department. Open to all SCC clients and members.

All spray pads are now open with extended hours as part of the Saskatoon Extreme Heat & Air Quality Emergency Response Plan. From May 27 to May 31, hours of operation will be 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Please note, spray pads located near school grounds are set to turn off 5 minutes before recess and lunch breaks and will resume 5 minutes after the breaks are over. Shut-off times vary according to individual school schedules. The spray pad at Ernest Lindner Park will be closed for the season due to a park upgrade and Brighton Core Park and Thorton Park will have delayed openings due to repairs.
