Hamilton - Chocolate Making for Autistic Adults

Autistic Adults are invited to a scrumptious session at Chocolate Tales in Hamilton. Known for their artisanal chocolates, hands-on workshops and classes, they offer a unique culinary experience, turning a passion for fine chocolate into interactive and fun classes at their Hamilton studio. Together we will learn some chocolate history, experience a chocolate rain demo and work on truffle making.

This is a small group and spaces are limited.

Kyoto Claw is a Japanese inspired claw machine arcade. At Kyoto Claw you can win cute prizes and choose to take them home or trade them in for other prizes! There's something for everybody at Kyoto Claw. Each registered autistic adult will receive a set number of tokens to use on claw machines of your choosing. Parents/Caregivers must purchase their own tokens to play.

Help shape the future of special education in your community!

Autism Ontario is looking for volunteers to represent our organization as a representative or alternate member on their local Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC).

SEAC members play an important role in advising school boards on special education programs. Your voice, experience, and perspective can help support meaningful change and ensure the needs of students with exceptionalities and their families are represented.

Whether you are a parent, caregiver, autistic adult, professional, or community member, your experience can help make a difference.

To be eligible, you must:
✔ Be 18 years of age or older
✔ Be a Canadian citizen
✔ Reside within the school board’s jurisdiction and pay taxes to that school board
✔ Not be an employee of the school board
✔ Not have been convicted of an indictable criminal offence

Halton District School Board (representative & alternate)
Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board (representative & alternate)
Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (alternate only)
Upper Grand District School Board (alternate only)

Families will get a chance to have one round of 18 holes of mini golf, all families will have access to Mini Indy's Maze! There will be NO go-karting included with this event.

A limited number of tickets are available. Max of 5 tickets per family.
