Goldencare Wellness

Goldencare Wellness Goldencare Wellness, is a premier destination for holistic health and wellness in Yaletown, Downtown Vancouver. I am osteopathic manual practitioner.

My treatment is combination of stretching, joint mobilizations, and massage techniques to help the body align and bring it into balance. This kind of treatment is covered by most of the insurance company. I consider the body as a whole system instead of focusing on a symptom and with different technique of manual Osteopathy I help your body to heal itself.

A starting place for the Caption: If this is your vibe… 🌿

Quiet mornings.
A nervous system that finally gets to exhale.
Care that feels personal, not rushed.
A little less “push through it” and a little more “what does my body actually need?”

If you’re looking for acupuncture that fits into real Vancouver life — a little pause in the middle of a busy day, a quiet room, and care that actually feels like care — you might have found your people. 🤍

Whether you’re looking for stress relief acupuncture in Vancouver, support for TMJ and headaches, digestive care, hormonal balance, or simply a little space to reset…

No wellness performance required.
Just you, your body, and some very strategically placed tiny needles.

✨ If this feels like your kind of care, come say hello.

When it comes to treating kids, I think the connection they have with their practitioner matters so much. 🤍

They need to feel safe, comfortable, and able to trust the person treating them.

With school starting soon, I wanted to give my son a little reset today — help his body feel more balanced, release some of the stress and tension he may be holding, and get him ready for the transition back to school.

And it makes me so happy to see how much he genuinely enjoys his treatments with Meghan. He trusts her, feels comfortable with her, and actually looks forward to his sessions.

Sometimes with kids, that connection is where the treatment really begins. 🤍

If, while reading this, you notice that your teeth are pressed together, your shoulders are lifted, or your body is holding tension… keep swiping. 👀

You may be doing it more often than you realize.

Jaw clenching isn’t always just about the jaw. Stress, breathing, posture, and tension through the neck and body can all become part of a familiar pattern.

Awareness, breathing, and movement can help interrupt that pattern — and when it keeps returning, hands-on TMJ therapy can help address the restrictions and connections contributing to it.

Notice. Breathe. Release. Repeat. 🤍

One of the biggest benefits of keeping my classes small and semi-private is what happens at the end of the training.

Once all the techniques have been taught and practiced, I take time to work on each student’s face myself — especially on the areas where I noticed they may need correction.

This gives you the chance to actually feel the right pressure, direction, depth, and movement in your own tissues — not just watch a demonstration.

Then we switch.
You perform those same techniques on my face, while I guide you and correct your hands in real time.

Because sometimes the smallest adjustment in your hand position, pressure, or direction can completely change the technique — and the best person to catch that is someone who truly knows what it should feel like.

That’s why I keep my classes small.

My goal is not just for you to learn the techniques.
I want you to leave the class feeling them, understanding them, and confident enough to use them. 🤍

If your ear feels plugged, your jaw feels tight, or you catch yourself clenching all day, it may be worth looking beyond the jaw itself.

From a TCM perspective, Meghan looks at the bigger picture — the jaw, ear, temples, neck and shoulders, stress patterns, and how these areas connect through the TCM meridians.

That’s why a holistic approach to Ear & TMJ treatment will include more than just treating the jaw.

✨ Body Acupuncture addresses the whole body (factors like posture, physical pain stress & emotional health)

✨ Buccal massage works from inside and outside the mouth to address jaw and facial tension.

✨ Facial acupuncture uses gentle acupuncture to support local circulation, release tension and work with the broader TCM channel pattern.

The goal? Not just to chase the sore spot, but to understand why your body is holding tension there in the first place.

Book a Buccal Massage or Facial Acupuncture appointment if your jaw, ears and nervous system could use a little more support.

Can Jaw Tension Make Your Ear Feel “Full”?

Have you ever felt pressure, fullness, or a “blocked” sensation in your ear but your ear exam was normal?

Sometimes, the jaw may be part of the picture.

The TMJ sits directly in front of the ear. Because of this close anatomical relationship, tension or irritation around the jaw joint and surrounding muscles can sometimes be perceived as discomfort, pressure, or fullness around the ear.

Some people with TMJ dysfunction may also notice:

• Ear pressure or fullness
• Discomfort around or in front of the ear
• Clicking or popping in the jaw
• Jaw tightness, especially in the morning
• Symptoms that change with chewing or clenching

This doesn’t mean that every blocked-ear sensation comes from the jaw. Ear infections, wax buildup, Eustachian tube problems and other conditions should always be considered.

But when the ear has been checked and everything looks normal, the jaw may be worth looking at too.

Sometimes the ear isn’t where the problem starts.
