Tomorrow, BCND will welcome a group of BC’s newest naturopathic doctors to our 2026 New Graduate Practice Intensive, led by Dr. Mike Reierson, ND, and Dr. Christoph Kind, ND.

With more than 89 years of combined clinical and practice experience, Dr. Reierson and Dr. Kind will spend the day sharing practical insights, lessons learned and real-world guidance to help new NDs make the transition from school into practice.

We’re especially pleased to recognize Cyto-Matrix as the Premium Sponsor of this year’s Intensive. Their support is helping BCND create this opportunity for new graduates to learn from two highly experienced members of the profession at an important point in their careers.

Thank you to Cyto-Matrix for investing in the next generation of naturopathic doctors in BC.

September 10 is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Every conversation about su***de prevention matters. Creating space to listen, reducing stigma around seeking help, and strengthening access to compassionate mental health care are all part of building communities where people feel supported and connected.

As healthcare providers, naturopathic doctors are part of that broader network of care, recognizing when someone may be struggling, responding with compassion, and helping connect patients with appropriate supports and services.

Today, we join people and organizations around the world in raising awareness and reinforcing a simple but important message: conversations can make a difference.

Later this week, a group of BC’s newest naturopathic doctors will spend the day learning from two NDs who between them bring more than 89 years of experience in clinical practice.

Dr. Mike Reierson, ND, and Dr. Christoph Kind, ND, will lead BCND’s 2026 New Graduate Practice Intensive, sharing the practical lessons, perspective and experience that can be particularly valuable in those first years of practice.

We’re looking forward to a great day and grateful to the partners helping us make it happen. Thank you to Cyto-Matrix, LifeLabs, Designs for Health and ProMedics for supporting BCND’s newest members and this investment in the future of the profession.
