A bittersweet goodbye 🤍

This Friday, we’re saying goodbye to our incredible Assistant Manager, Kendra!

She’s heading off to a new job and an amazing opportunity, and while we’re definitely sad to see her go, we couldn’t be happier for her and everything that’s ahead!

Cedar & Soak truly wouldn’t be what it is today without her. She has poured so much of her time, energy and heart into this community, and we’re so grateful for everything she’s brought to Cedar.

To all of our members who have gotten to know and love Kendra, come by this week, say hi and help us send her off with lots of love! 🥹

The smoke is affecting all of us, but for some members of our community, it can be much harder to manage.

If you have a parent, grandparent, family member or friend living with asthma, COPD, allergies or another respiratory condition, check in on them 🤍 Older adults and those with existing lung conditions can be more sensitive to poor air quality and may be experiencing more symptoms right now.

If you’re looking for ways to support yourself or someone you care about during these smokey days, think outside the box.

Our Halo Booth combines salt therapy, oxygen and red light therapy in a 20 minute session, and our cold plunge & sauna can also be a way to spend some time indoors and away from the current air quality.

We’re want to give our community a place to spend some time indoors and away from the smoke. If you know someone who could benefit, send this their way.

Halotherapy sessions for kids under 12 are FREE!
If you’re looking for something to do this summer while the smoke is keeping you indoors, bring your mini in for a 20 minute halotherapy session and take a break from the poor air quality.

To everyone working on the front lines of these wildfires, we appreciate everything you’re doing to protect our community. As a small way of giving back, we’re offering complimentary Halotherapy, Cold Plunge & Sauna sessions for all first responders until August 18th.

If you know a firefighter, BC Wildfire crew member, RCMP officer, paramedic, or emergency responder, please help us spread the word.

We had our first “Bring your Mini for Free” day at Cedar and Soak and it was a huge success! Lots of fun, lots of laughs and a whole lotta squeals while the littles played in the plunges.

Wildfire smoke getting to you?

If you’re dealing with headaches, sinus irritation, congestion, a scratchy throat, or that heavy feeling after being outside, our HaloRed O2 booth is here to help support your respiratory wellness.

Our 20-minute sessions combine:
Dry salt therapy
Medical grade red light

A beautiful Sunday spent filling our own cups. 🤍✨

Our Cedar & Soak team met today for a special team-building session led by our dear friend, Dr. Kevin Preston, and it was absolutely magical ✨

Taking time to slow down, connect, and support one another reminds us that caring for ourselves helps us better care for everyone who walks through our doors.

Our hearts are full, and we’re ready for another week with all of you. See you Monday, friends. ☺️🩶
