Say hello to Emma, Co-Director and Occupational Therapist at Therapy Bus! 💙

With over 10 years of experience working with children and adults, Emma is passionate about helping every child reach their full potential. Her journey to becoming an Occupational Therapist wasn’t a straightforward one—she originally studied History with Theology and Religion before discovering a career that perfectly combined her passion for supporting children and helping them thrive.

Emma has extensive experience working in specialist schools, A&E, and within the NHS Children’s Community Team since 2017. She has a particular interest in early intervention, complex needs, and empowering children to achieve their functional goals through personalised therapy and specialist equipment.

When she’s not supporting children and families, you’ll find Emma enjoying a good book (Harry Potter is her favourite 📚⚡), cheering on Strictly Come Dancing, heading out for a walk (she’s completed two ultra marathons! 🥾), or having a dance whenever the music starts. 💃

Emma believes that every child deserves the right support to succeed, and she’s proud to be part of each family’s journey.

Meet Luke, Co-Director and Children’s Occupational Therapist at Therapy Bus! 👋

Luke has been supporting children, families and schools since 2014, helping young people overcome challenges and achieve what matters most to them.

His passion for Occupational Therapy comes from personal experience. School wasn’t easy for Luke, and after leaving with just one GCSE, he took a very different path before discovering Occupational Therapy. With the right support, encouragement and teachers who believed in him, he went on to university and found a career dedicated to helping children reach their potential. 💙

Along the way, Luke has:
⭐ Helped develop NHS pathways for children’s sleep and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD/Dyspraxia)
⭐ Received awards for improving therapy services and delivering high-quality care
⭐ Supported countless children, families and schools to achieve meaningful goals

When he’s not working, you’ll probably find Luke exploring somewhere new, keeping active at the gym or out running, watching football, or enjoying a Disney film with his wife. 🌍🏃⚽✨
