You see me shaking this vial forever… 😂 but there’s actually a very important reason behind it.

Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) in a powder form, so it needs to be carefully reconstituted and mixed before treatment.

Thorough mixing helps ensure the product is properly dispersed throughout the diluent, creating a consistent suspension for injection.

It’s not a case of simply adding the liquid and giving it a quick shake, the preparation is an important part of the treatment process.

So while my mind may have wandered off to dinner, holidays and absolutely anything else… 😂 the Sculptra prep is definitely something I take seriously. 🤍

✨ Preparation matters.

Sculptra isn’t simply about the injection, the preparation of the product is an important part of the treatment process.

Careful reconstitution, thorough mixing and ensuring the PLLA suspension is properly prepared are all important steps in delivering the treatment as intended.

When booking your Sculptra treatment, don’t be afraid to ask your practitioner about how the product is prepared and what protocol they follow. Understanding the preparation process is an important part of making informed choices about your treatment, safety and expected outcomes.

They’re about balance, proportion and harmony with your individual features.

Every lip is different, the shape, volume, symmetry, texture, hydration, skin quality and anatomy all influence what can realistically and safely be achieved.

So when you see a pair of lips you love, remember……

Your lips are not their lips.

Previous filler, natural lip structure, tissue quality, facial proportions and even the way your lips move can all influence your result.

Sometimes, adding more volume simply doesn’t create a better lip. It can lead to heaviness, loss of definition or an overfilled appearance, something I’m always mindful of avoiding.

At Gentle Aesthetics, my aim is never to create the biggest lips possible.

It’s to create beautiful, balanced, natural-looking lips that are completely you. 🤍
