This really resonated with me ! I’m a bit like this today after 2 full on days in Amsterdam with my lovely granddaughter Layla . We finally got there to celebrate her 18th Birthday. Very special memories for just the 2 of us ( no pics from now on as she’s off to be a paramedic and she can’t have pics on social media) . Today is a slow day to recoup; get my Lipoedema pain under control and my secondary lymphoedema swelling down as well as recognise that I’m allowed to do this instead of keeping in pushing ahead, worrying that I’ll be thought ‘lazy’ and knowing that I need to look after myself in order to look after others. I’ll be back next week but until then have a super Friday and weekend all and recharge your energy pack too.

I used to think I could never lose weight and reduce my Lipoedema legs. 😢
Have you tried to reduce weight and inches but still not got rid of the most troublesome areas? Do you have one , or a combination, of the shapes below in the diagram? If so perhaps you are a Lipo lady like me. I was diagnosed 34 years ago before much was known about this chronic condition called Lipoedema . I’m hoping to share my experience, knowledge and expertise in this area both at the free support day advertised below and via my not for profit book that I’m launching on the day.

Also be great to see some therapists there so that you can understand more about how to work with bodies like ours without exacerbating the condition.
