We're excited to be recruiting a new Stop Smoking Advisor to help support people across Derbyshire to lead healthier, smoke-free lives.

🚨 We're Hiring: Stop Smoking Advisor 🚨
Are you passionate about helping people improve their health and wellbeing?
Join our Stop Smoking Service - Community Recovery Project to support people across Derbyshire, including those in treatment or recovery from substance use, to quit smoking and live healthier lives.

🔍 What we’re looking for:
✅ Level 2 NCSCT or be willing to undertake training
✅Experience of supporting individuals to improve their health and wellbeing
✅Experience of working with vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals
✅Experience of maintaining accurate records and using electronic databases
✅Proactive, organised and able to work independently
✅Excellent communication skills

This week is mental health week!
Did you know there is growing evidence to show that smoking can contribute to poor mental health including increasing the risk of depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Additionally, smoking can trap people in a cycle of dependence, poor health and financial stress - all of which can worsen mental wellbeing.
