✨ Crystals for Health will be back! ✨

We’re taking a little break over the next few weeks, but after the wonderful response to the return of Crystals for Health at Edlington Library, we’re delighted to say we’ll be back once a month from October.

And we’re not stopping at crystal chats…

We’ll be bringing you more activities, experiences and ways to explore the world of crystals... whether you’re completely new to crystals or already have a few favourites of your own.

It’s a lovely opportunity to come along, learn something new, get creative and spend a little time connecting with others in the community.

10 people joined us this week for another session of Crystals for Health... and this one was a little different.

This week, we slowed right down.

Rather than simply learning about crystals, we explored how we can bring them into our everyday lives through a simple daily crystal ritual.

Everyone chose a crystal (some with intention, some intuitively) and then took time to:

✨ Notice how they were feeling
✨ Set an intention for the day or week ahead
✨ Seek a little guidance from an oracle card
✨ Spend some quiet time journalling
✨ Explore thoughts and feelings through words, images, drawings and doodles

There was no right or wrong way to journal.

No perfect page.

Just a little time to pause, listen and reconnect with ourselves.

And that's exactly what these sessions are about, learning about crystals for health, while also finding simple ways to weave them into our own wellbeing.

It was a lovely session, lots of sharing of mindful moments.

We have ONE MORE SESSION left in this series!

Two months of our Community Connection Café ... and what a couple of months it’s been!

But behind every number is a person.

A conversation.
A new connection.
A shared laugh.
A moment of support.
A warm welcome.
And, hopefully, a little reminder that nobody has to feel alone in their community.

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us, supported us, helped make the sessions happen, or simply popped in for a cuppa.

This is only the beginning. I can't wait to review the figures again in a few month's time.

Today we held our third Community Connection Café workshop, and what a valuable afternoon it was. 💚

This month's session focused on understanding childcare – exploring the childcare support available, what families may be entitled to from the Government, and the different options and benefits that can help make childcare more affordable.

Although we had a small group of residents join us, it was incredibly informative and sparked some great conversations. Sometimes helping just one person can make all the difference. That knowledge can then be shared with family, friends and neighbours, creating a ripple effect throughout our community. 🌊

As always, everyone enjoyed free tea, coffee and cake while learning together. ☕🍰
