💜 If this rune was a tarot card it would most certainly be The Tower . The messenger of unexpected changes. The reminder that what's no longer sustainable NEEDS some attention.

Anything inauthentic can no longer survive. Anything that is not in alignment with who we truly are is proving harder and harder to hold onto. Rugs are being pulled. Foundations are crumbling. Sometimes, the tower must fall. Death is just as sacred and natural as birth.

So last night a dreamt of both of my deceased grandmothers. Then Othala came forward today. Othala is the anchor of the soul's lineage, representing the sacred hearth, ancestral magic, and the spiritual fortress of the home. As the final rune of the Elder Futhark, it signifies the ultimate destination of the spiritual journey: a return to the source, fully realized and enriched by the wisdom of those who walked before us.

✨ Fed by the roots of Yggdrasil, the ancestors never truly leave. ✨ They are part of our physical DNA and patterns in our soul journey.

To dream of both grandmothers offering comfort is a powerful, rare alignment in Norse tradition. They have stepped forward together as the Dísir—the sacred, collective female guardian spirits of the bloodline. In this season of stress and heavy choices, these matriarchs have crossed the veil to weave their combined Hamingja (family luck, protective power, and resilience) into fate.

No one walks this path alone. They stand as the tip of an ancestral spear, fiercely backed by generations of maternal strength. ᛖᛟ ❤️. I used to call them Zsamama and Tarnaimama based on the villages they lived in. But their given names were Ilona and Maria.

🪾 ᛉ 🪾 I am sitting in the back of my garden underneath a hawthorn tree. In Celtic and British folklore, the hawthorn tree is a sacred gateway to the faerie realm and a powerful guardian of protection. So when Algiz comes forward, I feel somewhat reminded to spend time with my soul more and reconnect with my magic. 💚🪾💚

This rune is also the simplified representation of Yggdrasil. The sacred tree. It is said that the three branches and three roots of the World Tree carry the
9 realms of Cosmos, always maintaining the balance between all beings until the day
of the Ragnarök, the twilight of the Gods.

She reminds us that as long as we are aligned with our path, we will be protected.

So I am checking in with my soul these days in case I am off the path ...
