Three signs you might be in need of a gong bath:

🌙 You’re waking at 3am
Your body is tired, but your mind is awake.

🌀 Your mind won’t switch off
Thoughts, lists and plans run through your head on repeat.

🫁 You’re carrying tension in your body:
clenched jaw, tight shoulders, shallow breathing.

Sometimes the system needs rhythm to regulate.

A gong bath offers space to settle through sound, vibration and stillness.

If any of these sound familiar, perhaps it’s time to come and feel grounded by sounds from the gongs. 🍂

We’re on our way. 🍃🍁

As we make our way from summer into autumn, you might find yourself needing a little more support, steadiness and space.

If that feels useful, come and join me for a gong bath — or head over to my YouTube channel for free, short sound meditations you can use whenever you need them.

Wet walk in the woods.

So good and so quiet apart from the sound of the rain.

Happy BH Weekend. ☔️

Anyone else love the storm last night? ⚡️

Sometimes we just need to let things move.

The tightness in the jaw.
The restlessness.
The buzzing thoughts.
The charge that’s been building in the body.

In a gong bath, it’s often the body that wants to let go of some of the charge it’s been holding.

And this is why I love sound so much.

Sound is movement.

We’re deeply responsive to vibration and rhythm, and sometimes we just need to allow what’s already there to move.

You don’t have to concentrate or try to still your mind.

The gong sounds create the movement for you.

You can simply listen, feel and allow whatever is ready to move, move.

When we release the charge first, clarity comes afterwards. 🌟

If you’ve been holding some charge in your mind or body and feel like you need to clear space, please book your space at one of our community gong baths.

I saw my first big spider inside last night. 🕷️🍂

That feels like the official announcement that summer is starting to turn towards autumn. 😂

The evenings are beginning to draw in, it’s darker in the mornings, and we’re heading towards the Autumn Equinox.

Summer is the outward season of growth: holidays, longer evenings, more people.

And now that rhythm is beginning to change.

We’re part of that rhythm too.

That’s why we respond so well to a sound meditation with gongs.

The slow, steady rhythm of the gongs can give you space to reconnect with your own natural rhythm in whatever way is right for you.

Lots of you have been enjoying the lovely incense as you walk into the gong space, and I promised I’d share what I’ve been using so here we are. 🌿

They’re by Sacred Elephant and are made with essential oils and a good option if you’re sensitive to synthetic scents.

I light one as soon as I arrive at our community spaces, so it should have finished burning by the time you arrive, leaving a gentle scent in the room. ✨

I love the woody ones: Sandalwood, Frankie and Cedar. 💛

It’s International Dog Day 🐶🐶🐶

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love dogs.

My dogs. Your dogs. Grumpy ones. I love them all. 💚

Adore their jolly nature and how they’re always so pleased to see me, even if I’ve only been gone five minutes. 🐾

Anyone else? 🐶🐾

I love community gong sessions.

But sometimes, a 1:1 gong session is a much better fit, especially if you have a sensitive nervous system.

For some people, a group gong can be a lot of sensory input. The volume, vibration, and simply being in a room full of people can feel overwhelming.

This is where a 1:1 can be really helpful.

There’s no expectation to lie completely still, be quiet or experience the sound in a particular way.

You can move, talk, fidget if you need to.

And the sound can meet you exactly where you are.

In a 1:1, the rhythm, tempo and volume are adjusted to suit you and your nervous system, as the gongs, and me, are focused entirely on you.

Sometimes you need more sound.

Sometimes you need less. 💚
