WATERLOO PARK REMINISCE ABOUT THEIR JOBS AND CAREERS!
The gang at Waterloo Park enjoyed a fascinating afternoon, talking about their jobs and careers when they were younger. Learning more about each other's lives before everyone met was so interesting. Our ladies and gents spoke with pride as they remembered their working days.

Tony King, our communications team volunteer, would like to share with you his photos taken at home in his garden, when the eclipse was happening yesterday evening.
The photos were taken on iphone17max by positioning the camera, using the selfie mode and managed to zoom in. The crescent photo is the best.
What fabulous photos Tony - thanks so much for sharing them with us all.

CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FRIENDSHIP AT WATERLOO PARK on 30TH JULY
Everyone who attended Waterloo Park last Thursday had a gorgeous afternoon celebrating international friendship day by doing just that! The gang celebrated their friends, told feel good friendship stories, read poems then took the time to focus on one person at a time to tell each other why they make the best friends! Some were described as courageous, some as empathetic, some as caring and kind, all in all it was so lovely to hear how special each person is. Everyone was then presented with a certificate congratulating them on having such fantastic attributes.
Thank you to all at Waterloo Park for sharing their special friendship day celebrations.

Unanimously feedback told them that:

2) The show was packed with music in every scene
3) The show included lots of props and visual aids
4) The costumes enabled the audience to recognise the characters
5) A resounding 'yes' to coming along to another show
Well done to our performers and Vicky, Denise and team, plus wonderful volunteers, Adam for all the visual expertise and Tony as videographer.

AN EVENING OF MUSIC - WHAT A NIGHT!
A very lucky audience were treated to a wonderful night of music performed by our award winning New Centre Stage's talented cast.
The show presented a wide range of musical masterpieces from Oklahoma, ending with High School Musical. Throughout we experienced the best of acting, singing and dancing from every one of the cast, who received a rousing standing ovation at the end. Thanks to everyone who attended, it was great to see a packed house. Also, thank you to Adam who provides amazing technical support alongside voice-overs. Thanks to Tony King, communications team volunteer who was our videographer for the evening.
Well done to Vicky, Denise and all the staff team and volunteers, who make it all happen and always a resounding success👏🎊😃👯.

WONDERFUL COLLABORATIONS!
Individuals who live in Shared Lives collaborated with South Hub and New Centre Stage drama group attendees to present an awareness session promoting Safety in Friendships.
The training course was developed as a result of co production sessions with our Shared Lives Forum members.
Lots of lively discussions took place during this session and voting sticks worked well with the big group.
Those who attended shared in their feedback forms that they
♡Enjoyed the session
♡Learned what qualities they value in a friend
♡ What makes them a good friend
♡ Negative Qualities they do not want in a friend
♡Learned new ways to keep themselves safe
♡ Real situations were discussed about Safety and Friendships
♡ Only 1 person said they did not want to do the next session and everyone else said they will be coming to Session 2 !!!!
What a successful learning session. Well done to Shared Lives members for delivering this training session and for everyone who has positively collaborated and took part. Watch out as there will be lots more to come!
