First day at the Congress 2026 Bangkok 🇹🇭

A brilliant start to the week. This morning I had the opportunity to complete a site visit to Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute, gaining first hand insight into their rehabilitation practices. It was particularly interesting to see how virtual reality is being integrated into both motor and cognitive rehabilitation, highlighting the growing role of technology in occupational therapy practice.

The afternoon followed with excellent opening speeches and an engaging AI symposium at the Bangkok BITE Centre, exploring how artificial intelligence is beginning to influence service delivery across OT.

A really inspiring first day and great to connect with colleagues from around the world. Looking forward to the rest of the congress and the conversations ahead
