the tiramisu truck was a huge success! But it wasn’t without its difficulties | ad

2 months ago I started selling tiramisu in a food hall. It sold out every day, so when a friend offered me a food truck, I said why not. We had queues with hundreds of people from day 1 and I massively underestimated how busy we’d be and didn’t stock enough back up ingredients. But one thing I didn’t have to worry about was payments. Using as my point-of-sale meant taking orders was a breeze. It works seamlessly, and they have next day payouts, meaning I can keep the line moving, and the money I take today is in my account the next business day.

450 tiramisu in the rain (and occasional sun), thank you to everyone that came and queued, i’m still learning how to make the best product and give the best service, and we’re getting better & more efficient every day.

2 days at the .up.truck done, 1 day left! See you tomorrow at 11am for the last tiramisu before the next pop-up!

The crowds were electric as always, and nothing beats celebrating at the finish line with a Spritz 0.0%. Running the HOKA Hackney Half so soon after London was always going to be purely for the vibes!

I’m excited and also nervous. I don’t have it all figured out yet, I don’t know which flavour tiramisu to do, but I viewed a prep kitchen nearby today which seems PERFECT. It’s a bit of a risk as it’s somewhere completely new and we’ve got box shoes to fill from the success of !!

We’re also going to be the FIRST trader to use the epic .up.truck which will be in King’s Cross all summer!!
