We’re so excited to be supporting the 5th Leicester Wellness Festival! 🤍

Tomorrow, Saturday 5th September, you’ll find Love & Light Loughborough at The Venue @ DMU, Leicester, alongside an incredible community of wellness practitioners, therapists and businesses.

As part of the day, I’ll be offering 15 or 20-minute Reiki Healing or Tao Hands Blessing trial sessions - a beautiful opportunity to pause, receive and experience these gentle healing modalities for yourself.

Whether you’re completely new to Reiki and Tao Hands or already on your wellbeing journey, come along, say hello, have a chat and see what you’re drawn to. ✨

✨ A NEW CHAPTER IN MY SPIRITUAL PATH ✨

I’ve been holding onto this for a little while, and I finally feel ready to share it.

I am now a Munay Ki lineage holder and practitioner, having received and trained to give all 9 Munay Ki Rites. 🤍

Munay Ki is a series of sacred energetic transmissions rooted in the wisdom of the Andean medicine traditions. The rites are described as teachings and initiatory transmissions that support healing, connection, transformation and a deeper relationship with the Earth, our ancestors and our own inner wisdom.

For me, this journey has been far more than learning something new.

It has felt like remembering.

Through the rites I have been gifted teachings around the ancient wisdom keepers, the relationship between humanity and the Earth, sacred ceremony, the elements, our ancestors and the energetic patterns we carry.

Receiving all nine rites has been incredibly humbling, and I feel deeply blessed to have been entrusted with this lineage.

There is something very special about receiving a transmission that has been carried through generations and then being given the opportunity to hold that space for someone else.

I’m not rushing this next step. I want to honour what I have received, continue integrating the teachings and allow myself to deepen into the work.

But soon, I will begin offering the Munay Ki Rites to clients and to those who feel called to receive these beautiful transmissions for themselves.

I’m excited to share this next chapter with you.

Another thread in the tapestry of my path.

Another remembering.

And another way of holding sacred space for healing, transformation and connection. 🤍

With so much gratitude for the lineage, my teachers, those who came before me and everyone who has trusted me enough to walk a part of their journey alongside mine.

A chance to slow down, switch off and come back to yourself.

Join us for an hour of calming sounds, deep relaxation and intentional rest, designed to help quiet the mind, soothe the nervous system and leave you feeling refreshed, grounded and restored 🌿

There are moments in life when you realise just how far you’ve travelled.

This is one of those moments. 🤍

My healing journey has been featured in ✨️TheHausofWisdom✨️ magazine, in an article titled:

“The Wound That Made Me: A Healer’s Honest Story.”

It tells a part of my story I don’t often speak about publicly; the journey that began after I was widowed at just 29, with two young children and a life I never imagined I would have to rebuild.

For a long time, I was simply surviving.

I worked. I parented. I kept going.

But somewhere along the way, something in me began to wake up.

My own healing led me through Reiki, sound healing, crystals, chakra work, spiritual traditions, Shamanic healing, ancient places and sacred land, and eventually towards creating Love & Light Loughborough, a space where I could offer others some of what had helped me find my way back to myself.

The article isn’t really about becoming a healer.

It’s about what happens when the thing that wounded you becomes the doorway to something deeper.

The version of me who existed before my husband’s death could never have imagined the life I am living now.

And perhaps that’s the most beautiful part of healing.

You don’t always get your old life back.

Sometimes you are given the opportunity to create a completely different one 🤍

I think one of the greatest gifts we can give another human being is to hold space for them.

To be the person they can come to when they don’t have the words.

When they’re angry.
When they’re hurting.
When they’re confused.
When they’re falling apart.
When they’re celebrating.
When they’re simply not okay.

To listen without judgement.
To sit with what feels uncomfortable.
To let them be exactly where they are.

I know the power of that kind of space because someone once held it for me.

13 years ago, after losing my husband, I was carrying things I had never told anyone.

And somehow, I felt safe enough to finally say them.

Not the polished version of me.

The real me.

The grief.
The fear.
The anger.
The shame.
The questions.
The parts of myself I had spent years trying not to look at.

And when I finally stopped running from those parts of myself, something shifted.

Because sometimes the deepest healing doesn’t happen when someone tells you how to fix yourself.

It happens when someone sits beside you in the darkness long enough for you to realise…

you were never broken.

You were just carrying things that weren’t yours to carry.

That experience changed me.

And I think it’s one of the reasons I feel so deeply called to hold space for others now.

Because I know what can happen when you have somewhere safe to bring the parts of yourself you’ve hidden from the world.

You begin to remember who you are beneath all of it.

And that is the work we do inside Love & Light Membership - Inner Circle.

Not becoming someone else.

Coming home to yourself.

This month, we’re going into the Mother Line - exploring the ancestral patterns, stories and wounds we may have inherited, and what we are ready to heal, release and no longer carry forward.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for ourselves…
